The U.are.U Fingerprint Keyboard is a Windows-compatible 104-key keyboard
with a built-in U.are.U Fingerprint Sensor. This keyboard is ideal for networked office environments and e-commerce applications where the convenience and security of fingerprint authentication is required. The integrated U.are.U 4000 Sensor uses optical imaging technology to achieve better image quality, a larger capture area, and superior reliability. Even the hardest - to-read fingerprints are captured accurately and quickly, regardless of placement angle. The Sensor is self-calibrating and encrypts the image data for highest privacy. Because the finger touches a plastic surface, the danger of damage by electrostatic discharge is eliminated.

The keyboard’s Y cable is terminated with two connectors: a PS/2 interface for the keyboard function and a USB interface for the fingerprint sensor.
