As per the directions of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, the Central Council of Homoeopathy has determined to implement the Aadhaar based GPS tagged Biometric Attendance System (AGBAS) in the Homoeopathic Medical Colleges to record the attendance of students, teaching/non-teaching staff, hospital staff, and PG students.

Our Aadhaar Based GPS Biometric Attendance System (AGBAS)

The attendance of the college, as well as PG students and the teaching/non-teaching of all the Homoeopathic Medical Colleges, will be verified through the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and the same will be centrally monitored by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) and the Ministry of Ayush, GOI.


All the teaching staff, non-teaching staff, supportive college staff, the students and the hospital staff will be enrolled as a one-time activity in AGBAS for which the respective colleges shall provide the following:-

The CCH-AGBAS android mobile application can be easily installed in the individual mobile phones (android). Availability of minimum three android mobile phones/devices with internet connectivity shall be ensured by the head of the Institution.

The CCH-AGBAS android mobile application will be functioning only within a specific radius inside the premises of the medical colleges and hospitals. Therefore, before enrolling the students and the staff, the Android device installed with the CCH AGBAS shall be placed in such a location so that the entire premises can be covered with the GPS coordinates of the college.

The Medical Colleges shall ensure1:-

1.Each and every person on the premises shall be enrolled in the AGBAS.

2.Availability of Aadhaar and other data of all the students and staff for the purpose of verification at the time of enrollment.

3.Availability of at least one attendance device i.e. Android device installed with the AGBAS and fingerprint scanner device, each at the classrooms block, Hospital blocks and the Administration blocks.

Pre-requisites for utilizing the CCH AGBAS

1.Smartphones with the following requirements:-

The capacitive touch screen of minimum 5"

Android - 4.0 or above

OTG supported USB port

Connectivity with a minimum speed of 3G through SIM card or Wi-Fi


2.Single Fingerprint Scanner device with the following requirements:-
